With the popularity of running at an all time high and more and more road races taking place annually, European Athletics have devised  the 'Running For All' program. Running for All is an initiative based on promoting and certifying Road Races in Europe using European Athletics Safety and Quality Standards for Road Races.

Below is some basic information about European Athletics Running for All and to invite you to promote this new program.

Running for All.

As already mentioned 'Running for All' is an initiative based on promoting and certifying Road Races in Europe using European Athletics Safety and Quality Standards for Road Races (please find them attached). Race Registration is completely free and very simple. First step is to Sign Up to Running for All internet platform (Running for All signup). After that you can login and start Registration process (Running for All Login).

First you will be asked to fill in Basic Race details, and after that comes the questionnaire with 54 yes/no questions relating to standards. Please be aware that there are 3 levels of certification, 1-Star, 3-Star and 5-Star.

*         1 Star - The race fulfils guaranteed minimum requirements   of safety and security for athletes during a race with a small number of runners.

*         3 Star - The race guarantees a good level of safety and  security, and offers runners a satisfactory level of quality of services for a race with a large number of runners.

*         5 Star - The race guarantees a comprehensive level of safety   and security, and high quality services, for a race with significant numbers of runners.

In order to register and certify your event on Running for All internet platform, your race must meet at least all of 34 minimum level (1-Star) standards or the registration process isn't successful.   To register 3-Star event, race must meet at least all of 1-Star standards plus the additional 10 3-Star standards. For 5-Star certificate, race must fulfil all 54 standards. Please note that answers to the questions provided determine certification level automatically. When you answer all the questions, click on "SUBMIT" and the registration process is done. After that, your Race is pending for a review, and it must be approved by National Coordinator in charge of Ireland in order to become visible in Running for All Race Calendar.
