At the upcoming Leinster A.G.M which is scheduled to be held in the Keadeen Hotel Newbridge on 11th February 2016 a number of officers' positions will be vacated by the present officer and new officers appointed to the particular role.
Chairperson Carmel Kelly, Treasurer Michael Tynan and Deputy Treasurer Norah McDermott have all served five years in their respective positions and as that is the full term permitted the role will now have to be filled by a new person. Development Officer Bernie Kavanagh is also standing down from her position.

It is a great honour to serve as an officer on the Athletics Leinster committee it gives a person a great insight and understanding of athletics on a provincial level and new officers are always needed to bring fresh ideas and systems to the board.
We are calling on all Counties and Clubs in the province to seek to address the vacancies at upcoming meetings and to put forward a nomination prior to the A.G.M.
